You are likely to experience 2-4 days of mild swelling. Depending on your skin sensitivity, this can mean between 1-3 days where you might want to avoid social events or meetings, with redness and tiny pin marks noticeable for up to 7-10 days (lessening each day). 

Some clients find their red marks disappear within 24 hours, and that their downtime lessens after the 2nd and 3rd sessions. Red marks can be covered with make up after 48 hours.  

You may choose to opt for lower protocols for less downtime, in which case more sessions will be necessary for the best results.

This treatment has some possible downtime; however, the results speak for themselves. It is impossible to achieve skin tightening and volume at this level without any downtime or slight discomfort.   

Alcohol should be avoided 72 hours before treatment, and recent retinol, vitamin C, glycolic and salicylic acid use may cause increased redness.
