THE PROCESS:
After a short consultation, numbing cream will be applied, allowing it to work for 20 minutes while you lay under a skin-boosting LED light (red or blue, depending on your skin goals) before starting the laser application. Lasting approximately 3-5 minutes, the process is painless and quick, as it prepares the skin for the targeted serum (chosen for your individual skin type and concern and applied during the session into the microchannels.
You will then be given a hyaluronic acid sheet mask and a 5-minute ice globe session to cool and calm down the skin, as you relax into a meditative sound experience. Finally, an SPF 50 will be applied, along with a selection of KICHI products.
THE SCIENCE:
Baby Face is powered by a Lutronic non ablative thulium laser, which is the only laser in the world to create microchannels deep into the dermis. This allows up to 90% absorbency of targeted serums, compared to the typical creams and serums we use at home, which can only penetrate 5%. This means you will continue to see results for months, not weeks.
These microchannels stay open for 48 hours, during which time you can choose to feed the skin with an optional take-home "Lutronic" serum (£30). We also recommend other branded serums that could be suitable.
*Acne scars and for the treatment of Melasma it is essential to continue the treatment with Lutronics TA serum (£60) We also recommend booking a package for a minimum of 4-6 sessions.

This treatment is most suited to those aged 27 and above that are looking to reverse the signs of ageing, improve their skin quality, boost collagen production, and treat skin concerns such as sun damage, acne scarring and pigmentation.
While the Baby Face laser is suitable for all skin types in the Fitzpatrick skin scale, energy levels and settings will vary depending on your age, skin tone and specific concerns.
WHEN:
As the Baby Face Glow pops on day 10, we recommend booking this treatment 10 days before an event such as a shoot or a wedding.
IS THERE ANY DOWNTIME?
Baby Face has no downtime, and most clients experience zero to light redness when they leave the clinic. For those with sensitive skin, you may find the redness lasts up to 24 hours, but this is only from the higher settings that we will work up to with each session.
In the 7 days following treatment, the skin will feel dry and form a sandpaper texture although this won't be visibly noticeable, we recommend no foundation from day 1- 2, while the microchannels are open. Day 3-7 you may not want to refrain from heavy foundation as it won't sit as well on the skin during this time, while the skin is resurfacing.
Fashion and beauty shoots, weddings please book 7-10 days before this kind of event, if you plan on wearing make-up.
To maintain the famous Baby Face Glow, we recommend lots of moisturising products like KICHI Forever oil or rich creams.

As the Baby Face Glow pops on day 10, we recommend booking this treatment 10 days before an event such as a shoot or a wedding.
HOW OFTEN?
Most of our clients return for their next Baby Face every 2-3 months.
If you are over the age of 40 and working to significantly reverse signs of ageing, or if you have sun damage and pigmentation, our recommended plan is 1 per month for 6 months, then every 3 months for maintenance. For acne scaring, it's 2-4 weeks for 4-6 sessions.
GOOD TO KNOW:
We recommend no foundation make up for 24-48hrs, while the microchannels are open to avoid irritation and best results.
No acids or retinol 3 days before and after unless advised post treatment.
No sun-beds or suntanning 2 weeks before and after.
No self-tanner for 7 days before and after.
If you are on medical supervision, a doctor’s note will be required.
